The center will help promote scholarly engagements with religion and the city through support for individual and small group research focused on any particular city or multiple cities, on broad phenomena regarding cities, or on 'religion' and 'the city' as theoretical concepts. 2 grants of $3,000 each will be awarded per year for broad based research projects.

Recipients of these grants will produce reports or other tangible mediums for disseminating the findings or results of their sponsored activities through the center’s website and may be asked to present their findings at the annual CSRC conference.

Small grant recipients will be chosen by a selection committee consisting of the director and fellow (during YR 2-3) and two members of the local advising committee.

Application Deadline: April 1, 2019
